The “little black dress” is a sign of your own affirmation that you are beautiful. When you feel beautiful, you are. It shows in your walk, talk, and style. It is the sexiest kind of dress you can wear. The mystery surrounding a woman who is confident enough to wear one is legendary. It makes people take notice.

The beauty and confidence you project is what people notice about you first. To get the attention you so richly deserve and the response you require from your lover, make sure you have a “little black dress” to wear on those occasions when the jeans and tank top just won’t do.

Every woman wants to feel sexy. When we wear lacy bras or silky panties, we are doing something for ourselves. Sometimes just the fact that it is our little secret does the trick.

Now we don’t go announcing we have a lace bra or panties on, but just the feeling of silk or lace against our skin creates that feminine feeling.

Sometimes it’s the the color that does it. Maybe we wear red for when we are feeling flirtatious or black for those exotically sexy days or nights or white for the “innocent look”.

It has become a fashion statement for some women. Women dressed in leather seems to catch the interest of most any man. Look around and if you see a woman wearing leather, check to see how many men are watching her, if you can tear your eyes away.

“Why the denial?” My inner plus size beauty refused to be quiet. “You wear my clothes and I am a plus size.”

I am rather tall at 5′9″ and she is much shorter at 5′4″. She borrows my dresses, shorts, tops; basically anything that is not intimate or long pants. She did have the grace to look embarrassed.

I then pointed out that plus size doesn’t mean ugly or stupid, though you would think it did with some of the shows on TV or ads you see. All it means is that more material might have to be used, giving the industry a reason to bump the prices up. That makes me think that the smallest of the small get ripped off pretty well, but that is another discussion.

Beauty has nothing to do with size. The shining light of the beauty within is what we seek in a friend, partner, or love of our lives. Outer beauty doesn’t equate to kindness, intelligence, or love.

Every woman, whether large, small, or in-between, should be allowed and given the opportunity to feel beautiful. She should have options of gorgeous clothes and accessories that make her feel special. This is my mission, to bring those options to the plus size beauty. Do you have one in your life?

There is always some event that I am never ready for apparel-wise. I have a dress that looks amazing as long as I have a bodyshaper on underneath, otherwise, I feel a little too “bouncy” and maybe a little visible.
